The SFIA Profiler tool is underpinned by the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) and has been designed to support organisations in their assessment and management of IT Professional skills.

The SFIA Profiler reduces the complexity of IT skills assessment in a variety of ways.

• It allows for the design of specific job profiles in SFIA language.
• Individuals are able to assess their competencies against pre-defined job profiles or the complete SFIA framework.
• Skills gap analysis enables managers to identify potential skills gaps that exist which in turn support training needs analysis.
• The SFIA Profiler generates a suite of reports to inform individual and organisational skills development.
